BRUNT FURY AT PARDEW’S TACTICS . . . AND WEST BROM TEAM-MATES

THE discord at West Bromwich Albion was further revealed after it emerged Chris Brunt tore into team-mates and had a strong exchange with Alan Pardew after Saturday’s loss to Huddersfield. Brunt is understood to have slammed Pardew’s tactics and led a dressing-room inquisition. Brunt was furious at the defeat that has left the club in danger of the drop. Brunt is said to have questioned Pardew’s call to stick to 4-4-2 against Huddersfield’s five-man midfield and also the application of some of his team-mates. Pardew earned a stay of execution after talks on Sunday, but his job will be on the line should West Brom lose to Watford on Saturday.
