1. When a person presses the doorbell it rings the homeowner’s mobile phone

2. A camera in the bell also transmits a picture to the phone

3. The homeowner can talk to the delivery driver or visitor. A microphone on the doorbell allows the visitor to speak back

4. If out the home owner can tell the delivery driver where to leave the parcel

5. Or if they have new digital locks they can open their front door so the package can be dropped inside
