BY THE time Son Heung-min struck the ball from the penalty spot, there were ELEVEN players in the box, not counting the Rochdale goalkeeper. Son stopped before striking the ball and was booked, with his ‘goal’ ruled out for unsporting behaviour. Instead, a free kick was awarded to Rochdale. It followed more delay and farce at Wembley as the officials used VAR to award the penalty. It left fans scratching their heads again.
