Young One Neil: ‘I’m dancelexic!’

ACTOR Nigel Planer reveals that he once turned down the chance to appear on Strictly Come Dancing. ‘I’d just had a back op and my physio old me to turn it down,’ says The Young Ones star, who is currently appearing in TV’s Marcella. ‘But I’m also dancelexic,’ adds the 65- year- old, whose new version of Marivaux’s classic farce The Game Of Love And Chai opens in London this week.

‘I’m 6ft 2in tall and my feet are so far away from my brain that I can’t get them to do what I want them to do.’
