Brits pop princess is a big spender at Queen’s bank

-

STAGE school alumna Dua Lipa established herself as pop royalty with her double victory at the Brit Awards — so how fitting that she’s used a loan from the Queen’s bank to splash out on a £1 million home.

The singer, who landed a recording contract aged 19 after five years of uploading videos to YouTube, took out a mortgage with Coutts, where clients need a minimum of £500,000 to open an account.

Dua, 22, bought a two-bedroom flat close to her family in a fashionable area of North-West London popular with famous names such as Peaky Blinders actor Cillian Murphy and the current 007, Daniel Craig.

The pop star, who turned up on the Brits red carpet wearing a babypink, tiered tulle dress that made her resemble a toilet roll doll, has already made a small fortune.

Accounts for her company show she has assets of £750,000, including more than £500,000 in cash.
