LANSKY’S GOT MOORE TO OFFER

- by SAM TURNER

LANSKY (Lingfield, 3.30) looks the answer to the feature 32Red Spring Cup with trainer Jeremy Noseda booking Ryan Moore for the ride. Lansky won minor races at Windsor and Kempton last season, but it was the defeats in between which were equally noteworthy. The son of Dark Angel was thrown into York’s Acomb Stakes for his second run and finished third to Wells Farhh Go. That was followed by a fourth place to James Garfield in Newbury’s Mill Reef Stakes. Lansky has winning all-weather form, having been successful at Kempton and will have a tongue tie fitted for the first time. On paper, the biggest danger is William Haggas-trained Headway. He was second to Rajasinghe in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot and third to Sands of Mali in York’s Gimcrack Stakes. But Lansky looks like he has a touch more scope for improvement. Best bet on the card could be

SEA FOX (Lingfield, nap, 1.45). He was beaten a whisker in a similar race run in a good time last weekend.
