WHEN their home game with Tamworth was called off 90 minutes before kick-off, Salford were left with 150 pies, four vats of soup and 40 cheesecakes so joint managers Bernard Morley (left) and Anthony Johnson (right) took the food straight to a homeless shelter. It was a grand gesture that we hope will be copied by other clubs this weekend. Just one question: who eats cheesecake at a football match in February?
