THE ECBs gender pay gap figures for 2016-17 reveal an alarming 60.2 per cent disparity in the bonuses paid to male and female staff — far more than at the FA or Lawn Tennis Association.

With the England cricket team not having done anything spectacular that year, it points to ECB chief executive Tom Harrison and his executive staff receiving out-of-proportion bonuses.

LAWYERS for the troubled Professional Cricketers’ Association contacted England players yesterday telling them to refer all England Team partnership issues to League Managers Association chief executive Richard Bevan, whom Sports Agenda has revealed will be helping out the PCA following their beleaguered CEO David Leatherdale taking sick leave. Leatherdale was acting as the Team England agent but had lost the confidence of senior players.

AMERICAN football’s NFL will not be selling tickets for their inaugural game in October at Tottenham’s current building site of a ground until late April. They want to see the camera positions and the whole seating plan.

But that hasn’t stopped Spurs collecting the final instalment this week from premium seasonticket holders who were given the big sell in a marketing suite that is understood to have cost £1m itself. The rest of the season-ticket selling process starts a week on Monday.
