MARY demonstrates another batch of ever popular classics that require minimal effort to put together, this time showcasing ideas for light and easy meals. She begins with drop scones — Scotch or griddle pancakes — before moving on to a light version of the traditional breakfast favourite kedgeree (pictured), beef burgers, lemon syllabub and a delicious-looking chicken, avocado and bacon salad. She also visits a London primary school to rustle up a healthy lunch using vegetables from their garden, with a couple of very capable little helpers.
