LSE PROBE
A City veteran is to lead an investigation into the dramatic boardroom struggle at the London Stock Exchange that led to the ousting of chief executive Xavier Rolet.
Simon Collins, formerly chairman of accounting giant KPMG, has been appointed by the exchange’s chairman, Donald Brydon, to lead the probe.
He will examine the handling of the high-profile row that broke out with investors when Rolet’s departure was announced in November.
