ABEDI AYEW — known as Abedi Pele — was a European Cup winner with Marseille as part of the 1993 team featuring Fabien Barthez, Didier Deschamps and Marcel Desailly that defeated AC Milan in the final. In addition to Jordan and Andre, another of Abedi’s son’s, Ibrahim Ayew, was also part of the Ghana 23-man squad at the 2010 World Cup.
