FIRST FOOTBALL MEMORY
I Didn’t really play in a competitive team until I was about 14. It was a school match for Yorkshire Martyrs and I think I scored from about 20 or 30 yards with a half-volley. My friends were asking for my dad’s number as one of the other dads was a scout for Bradford and said he wants to get in touch with you.
BEST PLAYER I’VE PLAYED WITH
OMAR BOGLE last season at grimsby. He was on fire. So it’d probably have to be Omar for what he did when I played with him that season.
TOUGHEST OPPONENT
JOSH GOWLING gave me a tough time. I remember playing against him when I was at wrexham and he was at grimsby. He’s getting on a bit but back then he was quick and he was strong.
FAVOURITE FOOTBALLING MOMENT
Scoring my first Football league goal on my debut for grimsby against Morecambe on the opening day of the 2016-17 season. Coming from where I did it meant a lot. I started off playing football for £50 a game in the northern Counties east.
SPORTING HERO
I’M a liverpool fan but I loved thierry Henry. when I was growing up people said I played like him — obviously I was nowhere near but he was someone I tried to copy.
TOUGHEST AWAY GROUND
I Don’t mind big atmospheres so it would be one where the atmosphere is less. I remember gateshead, where it’s big, but the fans are so far away. It always seems to be freezing there as well.
THE FIRST ALBUM I BOUGHT
50 Cent — Get Rich or Die Tryin’. the one with In da Club on it. I remember going to HMV with my uncle to get it.
KARAOKE SONG
Oasis — Wonderwall. It’s the easiest song ever. when you get going everyone starts singing it for you anyway.
BEST-DRESSED TEAM-MATE
Ben richards-everton. I’d never risk going into training with decent things because people cut things up or hide things. He’s had countless amount of trainers taped up together or laces cut out.

IF I WASN’T A FOOTBALLER
I’d Be working in a gym as a personal trainer or fitness instructor. that was the idea when I was playing for tamworth part-time but then I got my break.
