Sir Mo: I was racially harassed at airport
SIR Mo Farah has claimed he was subjected to ‘racial harassment’ by a security guard at Munich Airport in a social media video.
The four-time gold medallist said he was ‘touched up like crazy’ as he passed through security in a 47-second clip on Instagram with the caption: ‘Sad to see racial harassment in this day and age.’ He then argues with an official and is escorted towards departures. ‘You can’t touch me. Stop pushing me,’ he says. After announcing he is filming him, the official replies: ‘I dont care’, before walking away.
Sir Mo’s representatives said the incident was ‘racially motivated’.
Munich Airport has been contacted for comment.
