Sir Michael Caine breaks his ankle

Sir Michael caine recently credited his good health at the age of 84 to abstaining from class-a drugs. Unfortunately, his sober lifestyle has not made him immune to accidents.

The veteran actor had to pull out of an event in london tonight to promote his new documentary, My Generation, about the cultural revolution in england in the Sixties.

‘Michael cannot be with us in person owing to slipping at the weekend and breaking an ankle,’ a spokesman tells me.
