Jessica Jones, Netflix AS THE Marvel Netflix series returns, acid-tongued private detective Jessica (Krysten Ritter) investigates a mystery from her own past. Ritter’s performance gives Jones more soul and wit than all the other Marvel heroes on Netflix, and that, along with a fun noirish feel, are what put it above Luke Cage, Daredevil and the like.
