Traitors aren’t safe in Britain, warns Russia
A RUSSIAN news presenter on staterun television has made chilling ‘jokes’ about traitors and veiled references to the nerve agent plot.
Kirill Kleimenov – an anchor on Channel One’s Vremya programme – told the camera: ‘I don’t wish death on anyone, but for purely educational purposes, I have a warning for anyone who dreams of such a career.’
Saying that turncoats did not often live long lives, he said: ‘The profession of a traitor is one of the most dangerous in the world.’
He went on to claim that addiction, stress and depression resulting in heart attacks and even suicide were ‘professional illnesses of a traitor’.
He mocked ‘those who simply hate their country in their free time’, saying: ‘Don’t choose Britain as a place to live.’
