Zaha in line for a remarkable return, says Roy

- By KIERAN GILL

WILFRIED ZAHA has made a ‘remarkable recovery’ from his serious knee injury and is in contention to be in the Crystal Palace squad at Chelsea tomorrow. Palace manager Roy Hodgson said: ‘We have to be careful because it was a serious injury. He was involved today. We’ll see how he feels when he comes in tomorrow — another light session. ‘It is a remarkable recovery. Every team misses their star player. I have to get that balance right. ‘The initial prognosis was end of season, rather than six weeks. I’d be delighted if it was possible for him to play any part on Saturday. What we definitely don’t want to do is push him too early and miss him at the end of the season.’ Ruben Loftus-Cheek is also set to return to Palace’s training ground on Monday following ankle and knee problems. Parent club Chelsea will allow LoftusCheek to return if he is fit after three training sessions with the Under 23s.
