TIDY GRASSES

lArGe perennial grasses need cleaning up or cutting back. Deciduous varieties are the easiest to deal with. Pull away dead foliage or cut it back close to the ground.

huge grasses such as Miscanthus will need stout shears. leave a few inches on clumps to protect shoots.

evergreen grasses need gentle handling. remove dead flower stems, then pick out damaged leaves.
