- Daily Mail Reporter

FOR MOST of us, Mother’s Day means breakfast in bed, a card and maybe a bunch of flowers. But it seems that, for the rich and famous, the key to celebrating yesterday was a social media post.

Stars including the Beckhams, David Walliams and Nigella Lawson paid tribute to their mothers online.

TV chef Miss Lawson, 58, posted a picture of her mother Vanessa, who died in 1 85, while 46-year-old comedian Walliams shared a picture of his mother Kathleen holding him as a baby alongside the caption: ‘Thanks for all the love.’

Sarah Ferguson put a picture of her daughters, princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, on Twitter, along with the message: ‘I am so thankful to have been blessed with amazing children. Thank you girls for being so special, kind, full of care and love.’

Victoria Beckham, 43, shared a picture of herself with her mother Jackie and her husband’s mother Sandra with her 1 million followers on Instagram. She also revealed she had received a bunch of roses from each of her four children, as well as one from husband David.
