THE cocker spaniel, nine, has worked for MDD since 2008 and took part in a research paper into how senses work that proved dogs are adept at detecting smells down to parts per trillion. Kizzy also relishes diving into hedges during walks. ‘ She is diminutive in size, but not character,’ says Dr Guest. ‘She is cheeky and always trying to problem-solve.’
