KANE SCAN PUT ON HOLD
TOTTENHAM have delayed a scan on Harry Kane’s injured ankle in the hope of getting a clearer picture of any ligament damage when the swelling has subsided. Kane twisted his right ankle at Bournemouth on Sunday, the same ankle he injured twice last season. He is not expected to be fit for the FA Cup quarterfinal at Swansea on Saturday or the England friendlies against Holland and Italy. Spurs forward Son Heung-min promised he and Fernando Llorente are ready to step up in Kane’s absence. ‘We have many options,’ said Son. ‘Of course, Harry is a very important part of the team but if he is injured, other players have to be ready. I can play striker, Fernando can play striker. We have good players.’
