IF you squint hard enough, then perhaps they bear a passing resemblance to the real thing.

These are the actors cast in the first film about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, to be shown six days before the royal wedding on May 19.

The American TV film, which will depict the couple’s ‘fairytale romance’, stars British actor Murray Fraser as Harry and Jamaican-American actress Parisa Fitz-Henley as Meghan.

In one still released yesterday the two are seen close together while dancing, seemingly at a formal event.

Their foreheads are touching, and they appear to be sharing an intimate moment.

Another shows them dining with William and Kate (played by Burgess Abernethy and Laura Mitchell), the women in elegant dresses and the men in formal tuxedos. Just another night in at Kensington Palace, then... Other images show actresses Maggie Sullivun as the Queen and Bonnie Soper as Princess Diana.

The film, Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance, will air on the Lifetime network on May 13, six days before they wed at Windsor Castle.

According to Lifetime, the movie will recreate Harry and Meghan’s relationship ‘from the moment they met after being set up by friends’.

It will show ‘their initial courtship when they were able to keep their romance under wraps, and ultimately the intense global media attention surrounding their relationship and Meghan’s life as a divorced American actress’.

Miss Fitz-Henley said of filming: ‘I got to take a look inside the life of a woman and a relationship I quickly came to admire and claim as inspirations.’
