Today’s poem

The weather forecast did not look good Snow and ice predicted, Dad’s first thought — his little car Must be well protected. He covered the engine with rags and foil Because of the weather man’s warning, And went to bed with a sigh of relief That his car would start in the morning. The morning came all covered in snow But dad didn’t look so bright, His engine was built in the back of the car; It was his boot he had covered all night! Mrs L. Greenham, Weymouth, Dorset.
