Out of the mouths of babes

On TeacHInG our five-yearold grandson riley about the wishbone of a chicken, he tried the procedure with his nana and was left with the part that allowed him to make a wish. On a later visit, riley noticed another wishbone which was waiting for the challenge. ‘come on nana,’ he said, ‘I never got my pony last time. let’s give it another go.’ Grandad Billy Waddington, Whitehaven, Cumbria.
