Ticketed off

TO all those being ripped off by ticketing agencies, I simply say: don’t buy the tickets.

Years ago, I was a regular operagoer and bought tickets at cost from the theatres.

eventually, a booking fee was charged wherever you bought tickets. I have never bought an opera ticket since. Those who allow themselves to be grossly overcharged and then

complain about it are their own worst enemies — they are creating this market. Just say no.

No one ever died just because they did not go to a pop concert or play.
