Why comic Vic banned his wife from cooking

THE KITCHEN is no laughing matter for comedian Vic Reeves.

The TV star — who appeared on 2017’s Celebrity MasterChef — reveals he’s banned his wife of 15 years, former model Nancy Sorrell, from cooking because he’s so obsessed with food.

‘I cook every night without fail. I’m always healthy. I don’t let my wife cook. If I’m going away, I’ll cook and leave it in the freezer. I impose my law,’ he tells me at the book launch party of Turn Back Time by Carole Malone and Dr Aamer Khan in Marylebone.

Vic, 59, who has 12-year-old twin girls with Nancy, 43, has also forbidden takeaways. ‘They’re full of salt and fat. Celery and houmous — that’s our TV snack.’
