BAYERN STROLL INTO THE QUARTER-FINALS

BAYERN MUNICH completed an 8-1 aggregate drubbing of Besiktas to reach the quarterfinals of the Champions League for the seventh year in a row. Leading 5-0 from the home leg, the Germans went ahead with an early goal from Thiago, and a Gokhan Gonul own goal just after half-time extended their lead. Vagner Love pulled one back but Sandro Wagner wrapped up the win with a tap-in.
