GROUNDS FOR OPTIMISM

THE Cheltenham ground has not been riding too bad despite the heavy going description. Plenty of rain was forecast to fall overnight but perversely that might help. A drying ground becomes tacky and holding. Strange as it may seem, it will be easier to get through after a downpour.
