Warren recalls big guns for France finale
WARREN GATLAND has brought back his big guns for tomorrow’s Six Nations finale against France. Gatland was accused of being ‘disrespectful’ for making 10 changes for last week’s 38-14 win over Italy but he said: ‘We have gone back to experience. We have made seven changes so hopefully that is not too disrespectful to France.’ The key moves see Alun Wyn Jones returning as captain, Dan Biggar back at fly-half and Josh Navidi coming in at openside. And following Liam Williams’s yellow card for a high tackle in
the Italy game, Gatland told his wing to stay calm. ‘He is an emotional player and I like that about him,’ said the coach. ‘I admire his physicality and his intent on that. It’s about him keeping things in check and he understands that.
