EXTRA SECURITY BUT NO FAN BAN FOR HAMMERS

-

WEST HAM’S next home fixture will see strict security measures in place and a police presence following an emergency meeting held at the London Stadium last night. The London Stadium Safety Advisory Group (SAG) have decided not to restrict capacity or close the ground to fans when West Ham host Southampton in the Premier League on March 31. However they warned that any further disorder will make them reconsider their decision. West Ham chiefs met stadium stakeholders following last weekend’s 3-0 home loss by Burnley that saw four pitch invasions. As well as extra police inside and outside, access to the area in front of where the directors sit will also be restricted.

BESIKTAS have been charged by UEFA after a cat entered the pitch at Vodafone Park in their Champions League defeat by Bayern Munich.
