ALUN WYN’S DEAL TO STAY IN WALES

- By WILL KELLEHER

WARREN GATLAND takes Wales into today’s NatWest 6 Nations clash with France buoyed by the news that captain Alun Wyn Jones has signed a new national dual contract with the WRU and the Ospreys. The decision will keep the 116-capped 32-year-old in Wales up to the World Cup next year. He could then eye a big-money move away if he desired. Jones said: ‘I’m thankful for the collaboration between the WRU and Ospreys which will look after my best interests and

enables me to play the best rugby possible.’ Wales can claim a £3.5million prize haul if they beat France and seal second place. A bonuspoint win over France would ensure that finish. Lose and finish fifth and Wales will receive £2m less.
