SPRING SUEDE

SOFT and impractical it may be and, no, it doesn’t do well in our British drizzle, but suede is most definitely back. Perfect for spring, the velvety leather is warm enough to shield you from a chilly breeze. But, unlike leather, it won’t look too heavy when the sun comes out. What’s different this time round is colour. Burberry led the way with not only buttery brown trench coats, but also shearling jackets in blush pink. Why not wear a pair of raspberry ankle boots with a tan suede shirt? Or a striped suede belt with a white shirt and boyfriend jeans? Just don’t forget the Scotchguard.
