IF MARTINA Navratilova doesn’t like the fact that she gets paid less than John McEnroe to commentate on Wimbledon, why doesn’t she a) get a better agent, or b) tell the BBC to take a running jump?

The reason for the gender pay gap has less to do with inequality and more to do with the fact that men tend to know their worth and are not embarrassed about driving a hard bargain. As women, we need to negotiate better — instead of whingeing about unfairness.
