hardly believe Kylie Minogue is planning her 50th birthday. not just because she doesn’t look it (in my mind, she’ll always be 25 in sequined hotpants), but because, despite being the same age as her, she’s always been my go-to girl when it comes to frothy pop. We all have to grow old sometime. But seeing our youthful idols do the same marks the passage of time in a way that’s woefully inescapable.
