THIS charming new, three-part series follows the remarkable work of Giles Clark, who oversees the care of 50 big cats at a sanctuary in Kent. In this episode, e he fosters Maya (pictured with Clark), a five-day-old jaguar cub whose mother is missing a maternal streak. Parenting such a vulnerable creature is a 24/7 job and, after making her feel safe with him, Giles’s first challenge is to get her feeding from a bottle. After a tricky start, Maya is soon going from strength to strength, gaining in both weight and confidence — until one day, out of the blue, she starts to go quickly downhill.
