Size matters

WHY are MPs and campaigners up in arms at the sale of size 2 clothing with a 22in waist (Mail)? Sizes for ‘curvy’ woman range from 14 to 32, which has a 50in-plus waist.

No one seems to be outraged at this and a fuller figure is celebrated.

In my early 20s, I had a 24in waist, which today would make me a size 6. However, back then I was a size 10. There is certainly some tweaking going on in sizing that is not doing

any favours to either end of the weight issue.
