KEVIN and Marlene Ellis jumped for joy after discovering they had won £10,000 in their Daily Mail Winstants scratch-card game this week.
Readers who scratch off panels on their card to reveal three matching sums of money win that amount.
Mrs Ellis, 63, said: ‘I started scratching the card and said to Kevin, “I’ve got three numbers!” I couldn’t stop jumping up and down.’
Her 62-year-old husband, a former Royal Mail worker, said: ‘It was a shock. It’s only just starting to sink in.’ The couple, who live in Gedling, Nottingham, and both have children
in their thirties, haven’t decided what to do with their winnings.
