Builder’s factory boost

REDEVELOPMENT of the former Terry’s chocolate factory in York helped construction firm Henry Boot deliver record profits last year.

Opened in 1926, the site has been transformed into a thriving community with hundreds of homes.

Henry Boot saw profits jump 40pc to £55.4m as work continued. Revenues rose 33pc to £408.5m.
