FORMER Liverpool striker Ian Rush believes Mo Salah is capable of breaking his club record of 47 goals in a season. The Egypt international has scored 36 in 41 matches this term and has a chance to pass Rush’s mark from 1983-84. ‘The way Salah is playing now, anything can happen. It is realistic,’ Rush said. ‘For someone to score 47 goals would be an amazing feat.’

CHELSEA defender Andreas Christensen has been sent home from international duty by Denmark due to tiredness. Christensen, 21, has played 36 times for the Blues this term. Denmark manager Age Hareide said: ‘We do not want to take any risks with him. I cannot say exactly what is wrong. It is a little fatigue.’
