IF YOU have a complaint about an estate agent when buying or selling a property, there are three redress schemes from which to choose. You can call the Property Ombudsman on 01722 333 306; Ombudsman Services on 0330 440 1634; or the Property Redress Scheme on 0333 321 9418. Before you escalate a complaint, be sure you have first raised any issues with the estate agent in question to give them a chance to resolve any issues. Keep copies of all your correspondence.
