As well as being full of fibre, vitamins and minerals, sesame seeds are high in lignans — hormones that help to balance oestrogen levels. Try eating them in a paste called tahini. Flaxseeds are also considered one of the best sources of oestrogen. Ground flaxseeds can be sprinkled over yoghurt, cereals or salads.
