CANADIAN SLEUTH Frankie Drake Mysteries, 9pm, Alibi

DURING the case of a missing English teacher with connection­s to the opium trade, Frankie (Lauren Lee Smith, pictured) runs into her grifter mum in a bar. It’s one of those speakeasy types — this is Twenties Toronto, after all — where the piano plays fast and the chat flies faster, and her investigat­ion soon takes a twist.
