RUBY WAX’S HEALTH SPA DISASTER...

TV comedian turned mental health expert author Ruby Wax is to celebrate her 30th wedding anniversary at a luxury spa next month.

However her TV producer husband Ed Bye has ruled out Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire as a venue — after an unfortunate accident there two years ago.

‘I know Soho Farmhouse is trendy with its fashionable New York style exposed brick interiors but we found that look basic and I hurt my arm when I accidentally scratched it on the rough-hewn wall which had some sharp edges,’ he told me at the launch of producer chum Jonathan Sothcott’s Hereford Films.

‘We were also fed up because we were guests of somebody who has a very rich husband in the City and we thought they were paying.

‘As it turned out they only paid for the dinner. I got landed with a whacking big bill.

‘I loaded all the contents of the fridge into the boot of my car to take home.’
