Is £3m Albert Hall box UK’s priciest plot?

-

A BOX in the Royal Albert Hall could become Britain’s most expensive real estate per square foot after it was put on the market for £3million.

The 12-seat ‘grand tier’ box is just two berths away from the Queen’s at the venue in Kensington, west London. It offers one of the best views of forthcoming concerts by Morrissey and Dionne Warwick, as well as The Proms.

The box has 848 years on its lease. Jake Irwin-Brown, of Harrods Estates, said it was only the second in nearly a decade the agency had handled, adding: ‘Grand tier boxes rarely come to market.’
