Stabbing deaths hit 31
A YOUNG man became the 31st person to be fatally stabbed in London this year as he walked home early yesterday.
Devoy Stapleton, 20, was on his way home from a night out in Wandsworth when he was attacked. Police were called after he collapsed in a pool of blood at 1.10am, just a street away from his home in Wandsworth, on a residential road where homes fetch more than £1million. He died at the scene less than an hour later.
Last night his cousin Billie Shuter said: ‘My little cousin was murdered last night, my heart is broken.’
Mr Stapleton’s family were too upset to speak.
