Dated: During 1999 KYLIE met actor and expublic schoolboy PenryJones when they — somewhat bizarrely — starred in a production of The Tempest in Barbados.

Penry-Jones said: ‘To be honest, I couldn’t believe it lasted longer than a week. She’s an extremely free spirit, I thought I was one of the luckiest men in the world.’

He may have blotted his copybook by admitting he wasn’t much of a fan of her music when she played Can’t Get You Out Of My Head — her biggest hit — to him.

He is now married to actress Dervla Kirwan.
