I was ‘priest’ at wedding, reveals Adele

SHE may be the world’s best singer, but Adele is also a dab hand at organising weddings, revealing she acted as ‘priest’ at comedian Alan Carr’s nuptials.

The star disclosed her pivotal role yesterday on Instagram with this picture of herself in priest’s robes, her hands clasped in prayer, before a wall of flowers.

The 29-year-old got ordained especially to marry two of her ‘best friends’, Carr and his partner of ten years Paul Drayton, at her £6.7 million LA mansion, as well as singing for their first dance.

She wrote: ‘I married two of my best friends in January. You know me, any excuse to dress up.’
