cArLy roBertSon, 37, lives in London and works for an online beauty company. FROM the age of five I’ve worn glasses, and in most of my childhood pictures I’m in those NHS pink or blue frames.
Because I was so young when I started to wear them, it has never occurred to me to have contact lenses. In fact, I feel incomplete without glasses. When I had my passport photo taken it was horrible and I hated the pictures.
However, I am very aware that I’ve had my frames for ten years and I’m not sure they quite work.
I think I’ve had them so long that I can’t see — excuse the pun — whether they suit me any more. I love my new pair, the Kylie Minogue Slow (£99) — what a transformation! They make my eyes look larger and my face younger. I’m astonished.
