Tech star ousts another boss
VE GLOBAL, the former tech unicorn in the middle of a financial turnaround, has parted company with its chief executive.
Morten Tonnesen has left after 12 months in the post, with chief operations officer David Marrinan-Hayes replacing him.
Tonnesen cited family commitments and a desire to pursue other projects. Ve Global, with 10,000 clients worldwide, was burning through £2m a month when it fell into administration in 2017. It has since secured £15m from investors, axed 100 staff and moved to new offices in London.
The advertising technology firm said Tonnesen had ‘successfully consolidated and strengthened’ its position over the past year.
