And it seems the Porsche is still pretty quick even when there’s a brick wall in the way.

The 73-year-old driver was lucky to escape when this one crashed out of a car park and on to a pedestrian walkway.

The black Porsche, believed to be a 911 Targa 4S worth £101,000, was left balancing on its bonnet after ploughing through the wall in Colchester on Thursday.

Essex Police said nobody was injured, and inquiries into the drama continue. The damaged car was hoisted away by a crane.
